MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five (5) years’ experience of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible project
management (PM) experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and
tools. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
- Three (3) years’ experience in engaging with users, stakeholders, and executives
through a range of channels to understand user needs for the product; and obtaining
department/agency business approvals and sign-off.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree, and a valid Project Management Professional (PMP)
certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI), which will be verified during
the technical review process. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for
the required education on a year-for-year basis. The PMP Certification is required
and may not be substituted with additional experience.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience developing Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Offers, and Contract
Amendments.
- Experience centralizing project management services to strategically manage project
changes, risk, and issues for the portfolio of projects in collaboration with executives.
- Experience advancing project management discipline within project teams, defining the
processes, procedures, and best practices for consistent project success throughout
the organization.
- Experience helping an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) build and
mature their project management framework and methodology, including project
alignment across all programs, portfolio level risk management, ensuring executives
understand the impact on the entire department.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies in delivering services and products
to align with project/business outcomes.
The compensation for this position is $110,000 to $160,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. Employees are also eligible for performance-based bonus/ to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. This position is eligible for a benefits package including; medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, 7 paid holidays and 13 days accrued PTO.
